The luxury self catering holiday cottages are completely surrounded by open countryside, set within 250 acres of the owners’ land. They enjoy fabulous panoramic views across the Ribble Valley towards Pendle Hill.

Awarded 5 star grading by the English Tourism Council, the cottages have been converted to an exceptionally high standard with quality fixtures and fittings throughout. Beautiful landscaped gardens and a large patio form an ideal place from which to enjoy the breathtaking views.

The Trough of Bowland is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, and you will find some of the finest walks. We also have the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District just a short drive away.

Clitheroe and surrounding villages have plenty of fine restaurants, and the Norman Castle and museum are of great interest. Not far away are the ruins of a Cistercian abbey at Sawley, also Whalley abbey and 13th century church. Also, the magnificent Stonyhurst college, where Tolkien is believed to have taken his inspiration for The Lord of the Rings from is well worth a visit. Clitheroe is an excellent base from which to explore the Ribble Valley and beyond.

Fishing is available on request and is only two minutes walk from the cottages. Horse riding is fifteen minutes drive, and golf, ten minutes away.
